Resistors

VRE3520

Recommended for reducing and/or sulfur atmospheres; the maximum temperature on the heating element must be 950°C. This alloy is used in furnaces that operate in reducing atmospheres between 815°C and 925°C without the occurrence of preferential chromium oxidation. It is generally used in high load rheostats (up to 815°C) and less demanding household appliances.

VRE8020

Traditional alloy used in electric heating elements. Resists oxidation and has good cold formability, which allows manufacturing heating elements in different ways. The maximum temperature on the heating element must be 1150°C.
