Oil and gas

With an eye on the oil market

V630FO

Precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel; it has an excellent combination of mechanical strength and corrosion resistance and high dimensional stability. Used in aircraft parts, oil field equipment and several other applications.

VB30FO

Average hardenability steel that achieves average hardness, strength and toughness after treatment. Used in the manufacture of medium-sized parts that require medium mechanical resistance and good weldability, particularly in the oil exploration industry.

VC140FO

Steel featuring high mechanical strength and moderate corrosion resistance. Used in steam valves and rods, nuts, as well as in screws and studs used by the oil industry.

VL30FO

Low hardenability steel that combines average mechanical strength with high toughness after treatment. Used in the manufacture of smaller parts and/or that require good weldability material, particularly used in the oil exploration industry.

VL40FO

Average hardenability steel that achieves average hardness, strength and toughness after treatment. Used in the manufacture of medium-sized parts that require average mechanical strength, for oil exploration, capital goods and steelmaking industries.

VL45FO

Medium hardenability steel that achieves medium hardness, strength and toughness after treatment and is widely used in the manufacture of drilling tools for oil exploration (stabilizers and magnetic commands).

VM40FO

High hardenability steel that achieves average hardness after treatment. Used in manufacturing larger parts of general use, requiring high hardness and/or mechanical strength, particularly for steel, mining and oil exploration industries.
