Widely used in the automotive industry, aluminum parts can be produced via aluminum injection under pressure, at temperatures around 700°C. For this application, Villares Metals has a complete line of tool steels, standardized products and newly developed steels for specific applications. Among them, certain materials are noteworthy, such as those produced via Electro Slag Refining (ESR) process - branded ISOMAX (IM) - that is,  TENAX300IM and VHSUPERIM, as well as VH13IM and VP20ISO steels for the manufacture of die-holders or bases.
