Martensitics
Martensitic steels have good resistance to high temperatures, to oxidation at high temperatures and also to corrosive attacks from engine combustion gases. They are mainly used for internal combustion engine valves. Villares Metals supplies the following martensitic valve steels:
V422A
Martensitic steel is suitable for intake valves and eventually for exhaust valves as well.
