Carburizing Steels
N6587
Medium-hardening steel, which reaches high hardness after carburizing, ideal for parts requiring mechanical strength in the range of 80 to 120 Kgf/mm2 (800 to 1200 MPa or N/mm2) in the core. It is used in the manufacture of large and medium-sized gears and pinion shafts for gearboxes.
