Over the years, technology has become an indispensable factor to any corporation and by adjusting to the new means of production, Villares Metals has made this one of its driving gears in maintaining production quality. In addition, there is a Product Technology team, whose goal is to provide solutions according to the needs of each client.
These solutions will range from analyzing customer specifications to meeting their technical requirements related to product applications.
Areas such as Research, Application Engineering, Trade and Production are involved in this process, while Product Technology should link the ideas created in the laboratory to the industrial manufacturing. This set not only ensures the delivery of the product, but also of an ideal solution for the application in which it is involved.
Research and Development
Always ahead
Innovative solutions have always been part of Villares Metals’ history. A proof of that is the Research & Development Center (R&D), which has specialized professionals ready to meet the diverse demands of today’s market. As a result, customers benefit from improved materials that often exceed expectations. Studies are carried out internally in an environment that includes a full structure of testing laboratories.
The R&D Center is able to work with state-of-the-art (highest level of development) high-alloy steels and specialty alloys. Its activities are focused on products, processes and also on technical support to companies and customers. It also produces technical articles with the latest information on steel and its applications, presenting them in events and workshops so as to contribute to customers and the market in general.

The R&D Center is able to work on the state-of-the-art development of high-alloy steels and special alloys.
